- reviewing a conceptual framework for advancing cultural diversity in volunteer management that considers the realities of both small- and large-sized organizations
- hearing from successful diversity and volunteerism projects from several different communities
- taking home case studies and sample resources and tools as well as tangible ideas
- listening to a keynote address by the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration and asking questions about volunteerism and New Canadians
- talking with local partners about continuing the important work and conversations in communities in order to create change in local communities adn within individual organizations
