In listening to participant discussions at the Community Dialogues, we realized that for the purposes of this Project, the various functions break out into two broad areas of focus: Recruitment and Support (as shown in the visual). The questions are: What are the particular needs and requirements for effective performance of these functions with respect to recruiting and supporting people from culturally diverse backgrounds to participate as volunteers in community life? Also, what good practices, resources and strategies exist or need to be developed for us to do a better job in these areas?
